The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department hosts a guided kayak tour of the Tolomato River marshes on Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. Both events take place at the Nocatee Landing kayak launch. 

Led by county naturalists, the tours explore the Intracoastal estuaries. Paddle through marshes while learning about the area's wildlife and taking in views of Florida's natural beauty. Open to ages five and older, this event is ideal if you want to escape life's hustle and bustle and take a moment to relax in nature.

Kayak fees:

* SJC resident with their own kayak: $20.00 per person
* Non-SJC resident with their own kayak: $30.00 per person
* SJC County resident using a county boat: $40.00 per person
* Non-SJC resident using a county boat: $50.00 per person

Age Requirement: Ages 5 and older

When: Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, 2026. Both events are from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Where: Nocatee Landing is located off Tolomato Road in Nocatee, Florida 32081

Some programs are free to all, some are free to residents, and require everyone to pay a fee, though they may offer residents a discount.
