This charity 5K run/walk promotes breast cancer awareness and raises money for early detection services.

Pink Up the Pace 5K Walk/Run is an annual event held to help raise money for breast cancer awareness. The largest 5K in St. Augustine, Pink up the Pace begins from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, and has a course throughout the historic district.

Pink Up the Pace's mission is to have a positive impact on those who have been affected by breast cancer in St. Augustine and surrounding areas. This event raises money to assist in early detection and to help raise awareness about the importance of early detection. Several community organizations participate and sponsor this event.

The Pink Up the Pace's Expo is on Friday, September 30, 2022. Community vendors will share information, raffle prizes, and give out gifts to support Pink Up the Pace. Packet pickup and the Expo takes place at The Mall, located at 2121 US-1 St. Augustine, Florida 32086 from 2:30 - 6:30 pm.

Registration: Registration fees are $25 (for runners that are breast cancer survivors) or $35 (for general registration for runners ages 13 and up) for the 5K and $15 (for children 12 years and younger ) or $40 (for virtual registration) depending on the date of registration. Where: The race begins at the Visitor Information Center, which is located at 10 W. Castillo Drive in St. Augustine, FL 32084.
