From Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica, Protoje has received two Grammy nominations and has performed at Coachella, Glastonbury, and Lollapalooza. This contemporary Jamaican reggae singer and songwriter seamlessly blends hip-hop, soul, and jazz into his songs. He has released six studio albums since 2011 and has been mentoring new artists. His fifth studio album In Search of Lost Time, reached number six on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, and his sixth album, Third Time's the Charm, earned him a Grammy nomination.
