The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents roots reggae band Rebelution with guests Stephen Marley, Common Kings, Zion I, and DJ Mackle, in concert on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

Rebelution's founding members met and began playing together while in college. The group started building a small following in the Santa Barbara area throughout 2004 and 2005. They independently released their first full-length album, Courage to Grow, in 2007. The album hit #4 on Billboard's Reggae charts, and the track "Safe and Sound" was added to the rotation at major radio stations like San Francisco's Live 105, San Diego's 91X and KROQ in Los Angeles.

The band is hailed for their socially-conscious lyrics, cunning melodies, and superb musicianship. Rebelution has released three other studio albums since then, Bright Side of Life (2009), Peace of Mind (2012), and Count Me In (2014.) Bright Side of Life charted at #1 on Billboard's Top Reggae Albums. Peace of Mind, aptly demonstrated a steady and impressive growth when it debuted at #1 on Billboard's Independent and Reggae charts, and at #13 on the Top 200 charts.

Rebelution has performed at major music festivals around the world including major ones like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Glastonbury, and more. Rebelution has also performed with well-known acts like The Expendables, Slightly Stoopid, and Lauryn Hill. The four core members of the group are Eric Rachmany on guitars and vocals, Marley D. Williams on bass, Rory Carey on keyboards, and Wesley Finley on drums. They recently released their fifth album, Falling Into Place.
