"Red," a critically acclaimed theatrical show, is on tour and headed to the Limelight Theatre for one weekend only. The Tony Award winning drama by John Logan showcases the life of painter Mark Rothko and his assistant, Ken, in their attempt to make art in a raw and provocative way. The local St. Augustine show has received raving reviews, continuing to impress all audience members.
The Limelight Theatre is a volunteer based community theatre. The theatre is open year round and has been entertaining community members of St. Augustine for 20 years. Each year Limelight features 7 mainstage productions including drama, comedy, and musicals. The Limelight Theatre is located at 11 Old Mission Avenue. The show will take place in the Koger-Gamache Black Box Studio.
