St. Augustine's own Lisa Lockhart will bring her friends together for an evening of opera to kick off Romanza Festivale 2022.
The group will perform the famous opera by Leonard Bernstein Trouble in Tahiti from 8 to 9 p.m. April 29, 2022, at Trinity Hall, 5 Artillery Lane.
Bernstein's quirky, yet poignant ,one-act, seven-scene operatic satire Trouble in Tahiti covers the American dream theme, life in "Suburbia" and an unhappily married couple struggling to find their way back to each other.
The composer and renowned conductor is well known for his major works West Side Story, Wonderful Town and Candide, among other compositions.
Admission: Free. Donations will be accepted.

This event is part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, an annual festival consisting of two weeks of historical, cultural and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine.
