SAiRA Food & Wine Festival

The SAiRA Food and Wine Festival is hosted annually by the St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association to raise funds for the St. Augustine Boys & Girls Club. The annual event takes place this year on October 1, 2017, at St. Augustine's elegant River House on the historic bayfront.
The festival showcases culinary specialties from many of the city’s best independent restaurants and wines from around the world. Guests are greeted at the door with a beautiful souvenir wine glass and are then free to browse and enjoy the appetizers, main courses, salads, and desserts provided by SAiRA member restaurants. Over 100 wines are available for sampling.
Tickets are limited and all proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of St. Augustine.
The event, which was launched in 2009 by Joyce Pease, owner of The Joyful Cork, was transferred to SAiRA’s mantle that same year when Pease closed her boutique wine shop. Since its inception, the event has raised almost $200,000 for the Boys and Girls Club.
All of the wines and spirits poured at the event are available to be ordered through local wine shops, so guests can continue to enjoy their newfound favorites. The SAiRA Food and Wine Festival also features a silent auction featuring vintage wines, dining gift certificates, chef-prepared private dinners, merchandise from local shops, and more.
