Salt Water Fishing Workshop

    The Friends of Washington State Park will sponsor their Annual Saltwater Fishing Clinic on August 7, 2014 and August 8, 2014. In this 3 hour workshop, Florida Park Rangers will illustrate techniques anglers used to catch fish. Participants will learn about safety while fishing and conservation techniques, while learning how to identify various saltwater fish species. The workshop will be hands-on, teaching participants how to use a fishing rod and reel.   

    All fishing gear will be provided at the workshop, including a fishing rod and reel. Snacks and beverages will also be provided during the day. Each participant will receive a souvenir fishing packet to take home.

    Where? Washington Oaks Gardens located at 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd. Palm Coast, FL 32137

    When? The adult workshop will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the Children's workshop will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
