Shine a Light 5k for Ukraine

Shine a Light 5k for Ukraine will take place on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. It is a charitable event that is hosted by Epic-Cure, an organization that educates the community and provides humanitarian support.

The 3.1-mile course takes runners on a picturesque trail past Anastasia State Park and continues throughout peaceful St. Augustine neighborhoods. Walkers are encouraged to join the tail end of the race and to bring strollers for smaller children.  Refreshments will be available to purchase through local vendors. After the race, there will be a live concert with tunes performed by Bold City Classics, which will happen at 6:00 p.m. at The Backyard - St. Augustine Amphitheater. 

Shine a Light 5k for Ukraine is certified by the USATF, has prizes, and runners of all ages can register. The course will pass through Anastasia State Park and branch out onto the streets of St. Augustine. The race is chip timed and some of the prizes include medals and goody bags. First place winners will receive a flag from Ukraine and a chance at getting free backstage access to the concert.

Admission Fee: To participate in the race and to attend the music concert (after the race) the price is $40.00 if purchased in advance and $45.00 on the day of the race. To attend the concert only, the price is $15.00.

Where: The race will begin and end at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre parking lot, located at 1340C A1A South St. in St. Augustine, FL 32080.
