The St. Johns Kids Swim Run Race takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Johns Golf and Country Club. This event is part of the Florida Race Day Kids Triathlon/Duathlon Series, designed exclusively for children ages 5-14. 

This race is limited to 100 participants and encourages you to register early due to high demand. The race includes a swimming segment followed by a run. 

Race distances are tailored to different age groups: 

  • Ages 5-8: 50-yard swim (2 lengths in the pool) and approximately 0.28-mile run.
  • Ages 9-11: 100-yard swim (4 lengths in the pool) and approximately 0.55-mile run.
  • Ages 12-14: 150-yard swim (6 lengths in the pool) and approximately 0.80-mile run.

The event is preceded by a course overview for parents and athletes at 8:30 a.m. Each child receives a Florida Race Day shirt, a finisher medal, and race photos, with results posted online. The top three males and females in each age group win awards. See their website for more information

Event Details

Registration: $45.00 per child. Prices increase after April 7, 2026.

Packet Pickup: On race day. Arrive by 8:15 and be ready to go over the course at 8:30 a.m.

When: Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

Where: St. Johns Golf and Country Club, 205 St. Johns Golf Drive, St. Augustine, Florida 32092

Race Timing and Scoring: The events will be chip-timed.
