On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the Hispanic Cultural Resource Foundation (HCRF) hosts the St. Augustine Taste of Latino Festival, from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Francis Field. The festival is free for general-admission attendees, who can then purchase tastings at each booth and vote for their favorites in the popular vote. The organization sells tickets for a VIP section and to participate as a judge.

The HCRF is a 501c3 organization, headquartered in Brooksville, Florida, whose mission is "to meet the educational and financial needs of the Hispanic/Latino American community within the United States."

The Taste of Latino Festival

Featuring an Empanada and Cuban Sandwich Smackdown, the festival invites contestants to enter their best Latin dishes, including tacos, paella, empanadas, and Cuban sandwiches. Attend and taste the food, enjoy the music of Vaya DJ and Sons, participate in Zumba classes, and watch dance performances.
