Adam and The Testifiers

There are two constants with Adam and the Testifiers: Adam Hendley, and the outstanding musicianship by "Florida Panhandle Funk".

Singer, composer, and drummer Adam Hendley has worked with various local and national artists, performing jazz, rock, and funk. He also led the band Adam Hendley's Urban Soul band for over seven years.

Now, Adam and some of his favorite Florida musicians have a new act, Adam and the Testifiers. As he said, "We are a collective of hidden talent ... that lies along the Florida Panhandle." Adam and the Testifiers is not a closely held band of select musicians, but rather a "collective" of over twenty outstanding musicians — any of whom may join the band for a gig on any particular night.

Much like some of the great collective studio bands of the past, such as the Wrecking Crew and the Funk Brothers, Adam and the Testifiers is a tight group that seems to effortlessly create an excellent funk sound, in large part because each individual musician is simply that good at what he does — and because they all love doing it.

While there's no guarantee who will be performing on a particular night, those who listen to Adam and the Testifiers will hear great music, performed by Adam on drums and vocals, and a host of outstanding guitar and bass players, horn players, keyboardists, and vocalists.

It's a big sound, with a lot of heart and a lot of funk and a great beat.
