Trae Pierce and the T-Stones

Grammy Award winner, Trae Pierce has formed the T-Stones to take their rock, hip-hop, funk and blues high energy sound to national stages.

Grammy Award-winning bassist Trae Pierce has toured with James Brown, Robert Plant, Dr. Hook, and the Blind Boys of Alabama. Now he has pulled together a cast of young, talented, and high-energy musicians to form Trae Pierce and the T-Stones (TPTS).

With Trae Pierce (of course) on bass and vocals, Ramon (Rae) Pierce on drums and vocals, and Josh Grimes on keyboards and vocals, the T-Stones mission is to "funk you up."

TPTS presents a high-energy show that gets the crowd moving and fills the dance floor. They play original material and bend genres to funk up old favorites — such as songs by the Beatles — to present in a whole new way.

TPTS has shared the stage with George Clinton, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, and more. Now, they're taking their party all over the country, performing at clubs, colleges, and festivals — funking things up.
