Bob Weir and Ratdog will perform at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre on August 24, 2014. The Chris Robinson Brotherhood band will join the well-known and award-winning singer/guitarist Bob Weir.

Bob Weir is a founding member of the Grateful Dead, a band formed in 1965. He played the rhythmic guitar and sang lead vocals throughout the band's 30 year streak. The artist's guitar techniques increased as he continued to play with the band and led to his first solo album, Ace, which was released in 1972. Soon after the release Weir continued to play with his original band, as well as tour with other bands as a solo artist. The Grateful Dead split in 1995 after the death of band member Jerry Garcia's death. Weir as a result formed his own band, Ratdog, and continues to perform with them until this day.

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood is an American blues rock band formed in 2011. The group began as an experiment founded by Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. The group consists of guitarist Neal Casal, drummer George Sluppick, bassist Mark Dutton, and Black Crowes' keyboard player Adam MacDougall. Big Moon Ritual, the group's first album, was released in 2012 by Sunset Sound Studios. Their latest studio album, Phosphorescent Harvest, was released in April.
