Flag Day Celebration

The Raise it Up! Anthem for America event is a national Flag Day celebration is association with Smithsonian Institution and The National Museum of American History. The event is free and open to the public with special activities and light refreshments served.

At 4 p.m., the event will close with a live singing of the national anthem in front of the Lightner Museum, joining with Americans all over the country and globe singing at that exact moment. A celebrity artist will lead Americans in a world-wide singing of the Star-Spangled Banner from the National Mall in Washington DC, just steps from the original flag that flew over Fort McHenry in 1814.

Raise it Up! Anthem for America will be held at the Ximenez-Fatio House.
