Flagler Forum in October
The Flagler College Forum on Government and Public Policy presents Daniel R. Pearson, founder of Pearson International Trade Services, LLC, and a trade policy fellow at Americans for Prosperity, on October 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. He will present on the topic: "Trade Winds: Must Good Economics Mean Lousy Politics?" Pearson's lecture is in the Virginia Room at the Flagler Student Center at 50 Sevilla Street, and is free and open to the public.
Pierce graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. and M.S. in Economics. He has experience in farming and also worked for several years on the staff of former U.S. Senator Rudy Boschwitz. While working with the Senator, Pearson served on the staff of the Agriculture Committee's Subcommittee on Foreign Agricultural Policy.
Flagler College's Forum on Government and Public Policy brings nationally recognized journalists, commentators, and speakers to St. Augustine to discuss issues in regional, state, and federal government.
