As part of Flagler College's Forum on Government and Public Policy, Major Garrett, Chief Washington correspondent for CBS News, will discuss the upcoming 2024 election on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. The Flagler Forum takes place in the Virginia Room at the Flagler Student Center, at 50 Sevilla Street.

Mr. Garrett reports for all of the CBS News platforms and spent 16 months on the road in 2015 and 2016 covering the 2016 Republican presidential campaign. He is the author of four books, including Mr. Trump's Wild Ride, which was published in 2018 by St. Martin's Press.

Flagler College's Forum on Government and Public Policy brings nationally recognized journalists, commentators, and speakers to St. Augustine to discuss issues at hand in regional, state, and federal government. This forum has promoted intellectual talks about government and public policy for more than 30 years at Flagler College.
