UF Health St. Johns Foundation hosts The Foundation 5000, a 5K walk and run to benefit UF Health St. Johns Care Connect Mobile Outreach Clinic. The race takes place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., and runs in a five-kilometer course around UF Health Flagler Hospital.

The race starts at 8:00 a.m.; same-day registration begins at 7:00 a.m.
The awards ceremony is at 9:15 a.m.
A post-race fair includes a vendor market with local artisans and refreshments

This is a Chip-Timed race, with a YouTube Finish Line Video. Participants receive a custom race t-shirt and finisher's medal. There are awards by age group and one for the overall winner.

Beneficiary

The Foundation 5000 provides medical assistance to vulnerable people in St. Johns County, operating the Care Connect Bus Mobile Outreach Clinic.

Event Details

Registration: Register online for $20.00 per runner in December and $25.00 per runner from January 1 to the day of the race.

Packet Pickup: Pick up your packets on Friday, January 16th, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the roundabout at the main entry to the hospital, 400 Health Park Boulevard.
