Gamble Rogers Festival Showcase

The Friends of Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents a Gamble Rogers Showcase Concert featuring headliner Willi Carlisle on Saturday, August 5, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Willi Carlisle, folksinger, musician, songwriter, and poet, writes and performs songs that lean on tradition but share the joys and challenges of today. Inspired by Utah Phillips, Willi writes poetic lyrics and matches their brilliance with his instrumentation. A Washington Post review called Will "both down-home and brainy."

In addition to Willi, local bands Remedy Tree and Aslyn and the Naysayers will perform. Remedy Tree, a modern and talented high-energy bluegrass band, is a favorite at Florida folk festivals. The music of Aslyn and the Naysayers is a curious blend of folk and jazz and has won them acclaim since their days as students at Flagler College in the early 2000s.

Admission: Ticket prices are $23.00 in advance and $28.00 on the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased online or at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office, which is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
