The class of Leadership St. Johns, 2025, invites you to gather a team of four to six people to participate in the Great St. Augustine Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, August 30, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m.

What is the Great St. Augustine Scavenger Hunt?

It's a family-friendly way to test your knowledge of St. Augustine, learn a bit more about the oldest city, and have fun on a Saturday morning. Participants will gather at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Lightner Museum, where you'll learn the rules and sync your phone to their digital app. This is not a race. It's a two-hour test of your knowledge, your cunning, and your ability to strategize. Once your team is checked in, you may move to any location in St. Augustine's Historic Downtown and await the start of the game. At 10:30, the app starts the scavenger hunt.

Your team will receive missions. You may have to use clues to find a particular site, take a side-trip for more points, or simply answer a question. Find St. Augustine's iconic landmarks, answer clues about our city, and earn points when you complete each quest. As the game moves along, the interactive app displays how your team ranks compared to the others. The team with the most points wins.

The proceeds from this event will be donated to the Youth Crisis Center.

Who can enter? Any team of four to six people. Family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers can all form a team and participate. Come up with a team, name it, and start taking a lot of walks around town to get ready. How much do you know about St. Augustine? Join the Great St. Augustine Scavenger Hunt and find out.
