The St. Augustine Amphitheatre will present American Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp, along with guests Emmylou Harris, Carlene Carter, and Lily & Madeleine, in a live concert on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

John Mellencamp has held a solid place at the forefront of American music for the past 40 years. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a winner of a whole roster of awards, including the John Steinbeck Award, the Woody Guthrie Award, the Americana Music Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, and just recently the Founders Award, which is chosen by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, John Mellencamp is one of the most successful live concert performers in the world. His "Plain Spoken Tour," which ran for two years, was hailed as a "triumphant, career-spanning show" by the Hollywood Reporter.

Mellencamp partnered with Willie Nelson and Neil Young to create Farm Aid in 1985. He is touring now in support of his upcoming full-length album (his 23rd), Sad Clowns & Hillbillies, featuring Carlene Carter.

Emmylou Harris has won great recognition over her 40 years as a singer/songwriter. She is a 13-time Grammy award winner and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. She has performed with such diverse artists as Bob Dylan, Daniel Lanois, Elvis Costello, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Roy Orbison, Lucinda Williams, and Lyle Lovett, just to name a few. She is arguably the premiere songwriter of her generation, selling more than 15 million records and receiving 13 Grammy Awards, three CMA Awards, and two Americana Awards.

Carlene Carter is the daughter of country music legends June Carter and Carl Smith, stepdaughter of Johnny Cash, and granddaughter of "Mother" Maybelle Carter of the original Carter Family. With such a pedigree, it's little wonder that her own career has brought her acclaim and awards since the late 1970s.

Americana folk duo Lily & Madeleine are two sisters, Lily and Madeleine Jurkiewicz, who have released three full-length albums: Lily & Madeleine, Fumes, and Keep It Together.
