For Juneteenth this year, Lincolnville will celebrate 60 years of civil rights.

In celebration of the national holiday, Juneteenth, and to celebrate the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Bill, the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Heritage leads a community festival, from noon to 6:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 15, 2024. This family-friendly celebration includes an opening parade, live music, local foods, and performances.

This event is free and open to the public—all are invited to join the festivities.

Families enjoy the Lincolnville Juneteenth festival, as there will are many kid-friendly activities. Prior events included a designated Kids Zone, a backpack giveaway, and stilt-walkers wandering the street.
