Matisyahu, G Love, and Special Sauce At The Backyard Stage At The Amp

The Amp St. Augustine presents Matisyahu, G Love, and Special Sauce in a live concert on the Backyard Stage on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. 

Matisyahu catapulted into the improvisational rock-n-roll and roots reggae world in 2005 when he performed at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival with Tray Anastasio of Phish. Singer/songwriter Matisyahu says that he is open to all genres, saying that he has "always been able to shed his skin to fit whatever I want to be a part of."

He has released 7 studio albums and 5 live albums, writing and performing in a variety of genres, with most songs focusing on his deep spirituality.

Known for blending a cauldron of rock, blues, and hip-hop, G. Love and Special Sauce applies versatile flavors to their music.

Receiving much exposure from MTV and their tours from the United States and across the pond, the band consists of Jeffrey Clemens, Jim Prescott, and Garrett Dutton, also known as G. Love.

Some of their studio releases include G. Love and Special Sauce, The Electric Mile, Lemonade, Love Saves The Day, and their most recent album Philadelphia Mississippi. 

Admission: Tickets range from $48.50 to $56.00 and can be purchased online or at the Amphitheater's ticket office.

Parking Information: The Amp St. Augustine is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Free parking in the Amphitheatre lot is available during all Backyard Stage performances.
