Meghan Linsey

On September 25, 2014, country singer Meghan Linsey will perform at Café Eleven. Jacksonville Beach native Jordyn Stoddard will perform with the singer/songwriter, making the night a country-hit.

Meghan Linsey is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. Linsey started performing around the age of fourteen with her band at festivals and fairs. When Linsey turned 15 she opened for celebrities like Toby Keith and Brad Paisley, while making frequent trips to Nashville, TN to play in the famous Bluebird Café.

Linsey attended college at Belmont University in Nashville. There she met Joshua Scott Jones, a fellow singer who eventually ended up singing with her at various venues, forming a fantastic duo. The two were quickly scouted by a manager from the UK, and sent to London to record with his friend, Fraser T. Smith.

The duo, Steel Magnolias went on to win the second season of CMT's "Can You Duet?" Their Debut self titled album was released on January 11, 2010, which received great reviews from the New York Times. Jones and Linsey made guest appearances on David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, and E! News. The group split in 2012, but Linsey continues to write and perform her own music as a solo artist today.

Jordyn Stoddard is an award-winning 16 year old country singer. A native of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Stoddard frequently plays on local radio and television shows in the Jacksonville area. This summer Stoddard will record with Grammy-Award Winner David Hall.
