On May 21, 2024, the St. Augustine Chapter of Pecha Kucha presents several speakers who will discuss the topic of "Industry" with an emphasis on the service industry, at the Dog Rose Brew Pub. The speakers and audience are invited to gather at 8:00 p.m. or before. Attendees can purchase beverages from Dog Rose and food from the African Love Kitchen food truck. The presentations will begin at 9:15 p.m.

The St. Augustine Chapter of Pecha Kucha has presented programs for more than 10 years. There are chapters in more than 900 cities worldwide, including many U.S. cities. At Dog Rose, pre-selected presenters discuss their thoughts on the evening's theme, showing 20 slides and speaking about each one for 20 seconds before moving on to the next. This 20X20 format allows each presenter only six minutes and 40 seconds to tell their story. During any Pecha Kucha night, the audience can expect to learn something, laugh, feel empathy, and be surprised.

On May 21, chefs, managers, and bakers are among those who share their industry experience through their words and photos.

Admission: A donation of $10.00 is requested to help fund these events. There will be a cash bar, and the opportunity to purchase food from the African Love Kitchen Food Truck.

When: Tuesday, May 21, 2024 The event begins with a gathering at 8:00 p.m. and presentations start at 9:15 p.m. (Industry Night always starts a bit late because most of the speakers work later hours.)
