EPIC Behavioral Healthcare presents the Race to the Taste 5K on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

Beginning at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, the in-and-out course winds through Anastasia State Park and Anastasia Island's shaded residential areas, ending back at the Amphitheatre. This race sets the stage for A Taste of St. Augustine, a culinary festival and tasting event, and each race participant receives one free ticket to A Taste of St. Augustine and one half-price ticket for their guest.

The Race to the Taste's keyhole course is thoughtfully wider than traditional courses. While both runners and walkers are welcome, the event organizers ask those with strollers to begin at the rear to minimize safety hazards and allow competitive runners to pursue their goal times.

Beneficiary

Participate in this 5K and help raise awareness for the many causes EPIC Behavioral Healthcare supports. EPIC Behavioral Healthcare was established in 1973 as a community-based non-profit organization. Licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families, EPIC was created to provide substance abuse prevention, intervention, outpatient treatment, and aftercare services.

Event Details

Registration: $30.00 for adults, $15.00 for kids 7 to 15, and $5.00 for children younger than 7. Adult prices increase to $35 on March 1, $40.00 on April 1, and $45.00 on the day of the race.

Packet Pickup: Friday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at EPIC Behavioral Healthcare, 1400 Old Dixie Highway, St. Augustine, Florida 32084. You can also get your packet on Sunday morning before the race.

When: Sunday, April 12, 2026, starting at 10:30 a.m.

Race Timing and Scoring: The event is chip-timed by Hasselmania Productions. This is a chip-timed event on a certified course and is an out-and-back race.
