Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder
Country and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder return to the stage at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.
The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, in partnership with Flying Saucer Presents, welcomes Grammy Award-winner Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder on their return to the Concert Hall to perform on Saturday, December 11, 2021. (This concert was originally scheduled for April 3, 2020 and rescheduled for March 12, 2021.)
A 40-plus-year music veteran, country and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs has 15 Grammy awards, eight CMA Awards, nine ACM Awards, 11 IBMA Awards and a wealth of other honors, including three honorary Doctorate degrees. He is one of bluegrass' most dynamic and sought-after live performers. His first live album with Kentucky Thunder, Live at the Charleston Music Hall, earned an IBMA Award for Instrumental Group of the Year in 2003 — an award which Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder have taken home eight more times in the last decade.
Admission: Tickets are $39 to $51.
When: 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021. Gates open at 7 p.m.
Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
