Veterans Day Celebration at Anastasia Church
The Veterans Council of St. Johns County, along with the Military Officers Association of America, Ancient City Chapter, hosts a remembrance event to honor this day. Listen to local veteran speakers who have served in WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and were involved in Iraq and Afghanistan operations. There will also be a featured performance from the St. Johns County Chamber Singers.

Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and the ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. There is free parking onsite.

Old Town Trolley Tours
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Historic Tours of America offers all military (veterans, active-duty, retired, and honorably discharged) and first responders complimentary admission to the Old Town Trolley Tour, the Old Jail, the Oldest Store Museum, and Potter's Wax Museum.
Additionally, in partnership with Patriot Service Dogs, Old Town Trolleys will again sponsor a service dog for a disabled veteran, donating $1.00 from every ticket sold on Veterans Day to that organization. To date, Old Town Trolleys has sponsored six puppies for veterans.

The attractions below offer free admission and discounts to veterans on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2025:
The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum offers 10% off for veterans and free admission for active military with ID and up to three dependents.
The National Park Service presents free admission to all military (veterans, active-duty, retired, and honorably discharged) to the Castillo de San Marcos. An ID is required.
Red Boat Tours: Veterans ride free on Veterans Day, on either the Dolphin Odyssey and Sightseeing Tour at noon or the B.Y.O. Sunset Cruise at 4:45. All veterans receive a 15% discount through November 2025. Call (904) 436-3566 to book those tours.
