Sandy Claus Race

Runners4Recovery presents The Sandy Claus Race at the Crowsswater Hall in Nocatee, on Sunday, December 1, 2024. The 10-mile race kicks off the event at 8:00 a.m. The 5-mile race follows at 8:30 a.m., and the 1-mile fun run starts at 9:00 a.m.

Runners4Recovery is a non-profit organization based in Jacksonville that raises awareness of substance abuse disorders to reduce the associated stigmas. The organization fosters healthy lifestyle choices through exercise and provides access to resources and services for those in active recovery. Register here to participate in any of this year's races.

Runners receive a custom race shirt, finisher's medal, and a custom race bib. Post-race food is available also. The race starts and finishes in the field next to the Nocatee Splash Water Park. The course runs through the scenic Nocatee Greenway Trails and several Nocatee developments.

Overall winners are selected based on gun time and age group. The top finishers will receive a commemorative race glass.

Admission: $50.00 for the 10-mile race, $40.00 for the 5-mile race,  and $15.00 for the 1-mile fun run. Register here for any of this year's Sandy Claus runs.

Packet Pickup: Participants can pick up race packets on race day at 5:30 a.m. Race day registration is available to those with cash or checks.

When: The Sandy Claus Race begins at 8:00 a.m. with a 10-mile race, followed by a 5-mile race at 8:30 a.m. and a 1-mile fun run at 9:00 a.m. All races are for Sunday, December 1, 2024.
