St. Anastasia Catholic Church will close out its concert series Sunday, May 2, 2021, with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 Opus 74 and a Cello Concerto featuring Shannon Lockwood and the Jacksonville University (JU) Orchestra.

Lockwood, an assistant professor of music at JU, teaches cello, chamber music and music theory.

The JU Orchestra is comprised of students, faculty and community members and is conducted by Director of Orchestral Activities Marguerite Richardson, Ph.D.

Since joining JU in 2007, Richardson has expanded the ensemble's repertoire to include classical and "pops" programming, radio play productions, musicals, operas and movie sound track recordings.
