The Milano Room at Amici presents Wagyu and Whistlepig on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Join Amici's owner and executive chef, Freddy Underhill, and guest chef, Josh Agan, for an evening exploration of Japanese A5 Wagyu beef and the renowned Whistlepig whiskey. Together, the chefs guide their guests through five curated dishes designed to showcase this high-quality beef.

Courses one and two explore the beef's natural flavor and exquisite marbling through the French and Italian appetizers— tartare and carpaccio

In course three, the broad ridges of the rigatoni noodle perfectly capture the dish's chunky bolognese sauce. This familiar classic showcases Wagyu's versatility and is a comfort food similar to many of the dishes at Amici Italian Restaurant.

Guests experience Sicilian cuisine in course four with arancini  — stuffed rice balls coated with breadcrumbs and fried to a golden crisp. This arancini features Wagyu bavette steak — a flank cut known for its tenderness and rich flavor.

The chefs' made course five is a special surprise for the evening's guests. Visitors and locals can reserve seats for this culinary exploration and experience showcasing the highly sought-after Wagyu beef and Whistlepig whiskey.

Admission: Tickets are $150 per guest.
