Wax and DJ Hoppa at Colonial Oak Music Park

Deuterman Productions presents Wax and DJ Hoppa, with support from Joey Harkum, on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Colonial Oak Music Park.

The Act

Wax built his career as a rapper. His work as a producer, songwriter, and occasionally a singer has garnered attention across the country. His music catalogue is diverse, including creative rap wordplay and heartfelt and inspirational songs.

From Los Angeles, Hoppa first took up beat-making production as a teen. He released his first album, To April from June, in 2004. Since then, he has collaborated on several albums and released a second solo album in 2009, and is known for creating his music and producing records. 

In June of 2026, Wax and DJ Hoppa released their collaborative album, Highway Hotel, a blend of melodic songwriting, sharp lyrics, and edgy hip-hop.
