Vilano Beach Fishing Pier
Fish and enjoy the views — especially during sunset.
Located on the river side of the Matanzas Inlet, the Vilano Beach Pier has a charming small boat dock and pier area. The design complements the community's retro look and tiled art deco decor.
A novelty dolphin sculpture greets visitors at the entrance, along with the popular Vilano Blue Bird of Happiness statue, which says, "Happiness is Vilano Beach, Florida."
Known as one of the best spots to fish in the surrounding area, it also serves as a venue for Vilano Beach events such as fishing tournaments and festivals.
The pier has a floating dock with a ramp where boats may tie up for an hour or two. Tourist cruise boats depart from this location as well.
It's open 24 hours with free onsite parking.
