The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Adrian Legg and David Lindley on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 8:00 p.m.
Adrian Legg has had a distinguished career as a performer, recording artist and composer. He is a frequent commentator for NPR's "All Things Considered." Hailed as "one of the wizards" of guitar by Philadelphia Enquirer, his work oscillates between the sensibilities of European classicism and the virtuoso of the American guitar. Legg's melodic invention makes his music difficult to place in a single category.
David Lindley's electro-acoustic style combines various sounds of American folk and blues with the exotic world beats of African, Asian, Arabic, Celtic, and Turkish traditions. Lindley plays a variety of instruments, including the Kona, the Irish bouzouki, and the Weissenborn Hawaiian lap steel guitar. The culmination of sounds and influence from around the globe make Lindley a champion of world music.
