Apex Theatre: Two Christmas Favorites

Apex Theatre Studio will close out its 2018 season with two Christmas presentations on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, December 21, 22, and 23, 2018. The Santaland Diaries will be presented on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., and "It's a Wonderful Life: a Live Radio Play" will be shown on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Both productions will be held at Apex Theatre Studio's own studio space in Ponte Vedra Beach.  "We wanted to open up our doors and create a place where folks can come and connect to their community through entertaining storytelling, music, and laughter," remarked Ian Mairs, Managing Director for Apex Theatre Studio.

The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris is the hilarious retelling of Sedaris' experience working as an elf at Macy's Santaland. The Seattle Times describes the show as "quite possibly the funniest thirty-one pages published in the last quarter century." The Apex Theatre Studio production will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, and Saturday, December 22, 2018, following a pre-show of live music with Duffy Bishop and friends which begins at 7:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $18.00 each. "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" is an adaptation of the Christmas classic film, performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast. Performances of this holiday special will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, and Sunday, December 23, 2018. Reserved seating tickets are $18.00 each.
