    Ballyhoo! is a rock band with punk energy and reggae grooves. Originally from Maryland, the group performs unique melodic tunes, while blending different genres. Ballyhoo! will be joined by bands Bumpin Uglies and Fayuca during their performance at Café 11.

    Ballyhoo! originates from Aberdeen, Maryland and was formed in July 1995. The group has released 5 studio albums, selling over 30,000 copies worldwide, and 200,000 digital tracks. Their 5th studio album, Pineapple Grenade, reached number 4 on the Billboard Heatseekers. The band has performed with many national touring acts, including Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, and more. Balyhoo! was listed on MTV’s 100 Bands to Watch by the Artist on the Verge Project.

    Bumpin Uglies, a three-member reggae band from Annapolis, Maryland, will perform with Ballyhoo! at Café Eleven. Members consist of Brandon Hardesty (Vocals, Guitar), Dave Wolf (Vocals, Bass), and Timothy Jones (Drums). The band has a similar sound to groups such as Mad Caddies and Sublime. Bumpin Uglies released their debut LP, Free Candy, in June of 2011.

    Fayuca is a Latin-reggae-rock band. Group members include Gabo (Lead Vocalist), and Rafael (Drummer). The band has released 4 studio albums since their release in 2005, and continues to write and record music to this day. The group won the award for Best New/ Underground Artist at Texas SXSW.
