Washington Oaks Gardens State Park presents Beginners Saltwater Fishing Clinics for adults on four consecutive Thursdays in July.

  • Washington Oaks Gardens State Park will host Beginners Saltwater Fishing Clinic for adults and youngsters on consecutive Thursdays in July 2017. The clinics will take place from 9:00 a.m until 12:00 noon on July 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2017.

    Participants can learn how to identify saltwater fish and how to use a rod, reel and tackle. All the necessary supplies will be provided to workshop participants. The fee is $20 per workshop for adults ages 18 and up.

    The Friends of Washington Oaks debuted these fishing clinics in 2016, and they have been very popular. Advance registration is required, and they sell out fast. Please contact the park at (386) 446-6783 or visit here to reserve a spot.
