Beginners Saltwater Fishing Clinics for Kids

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park will host Beginners Saltwater Fishing Clinic for kids and youngsters ages 8 to 17 on consecutive Fridays in July 2018. There are four sessions that take place from 9:00 a.m until 12:00 noon on July 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2018.

Participants can learn how to identify saltwater fish and how to use a rod, reel and tackle. All the necessary supplies will be provided to workshop participants. The fee is $20 per workshop for ages 8 to 17.

The Friends of Washington Oaks debuted these fishing clinics in 2016, and they have been very popular. Advance registration is required, and the clinics sell out fast. Please contact the park at (386) 446-6783 or email here to confirm availability before choosing a date and reserving a spot.

Admission: The fee is $20 per person (ages 8 to 17) and up). The park supplies everything participants need.
