"Vilano and the North Beaches" Book Signing

Vilano Beach Main Street, Inc. will host a book signing for Vilano and the North Beaches on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Aunt Kate's Restaurant. The newest edition of the Images of America Series published by Arcadia Press, Vilano and the North Beaches explores the settlement and communities of this unique northeast Florida town.

The book is Vilano Beach Main Street Inc.'s contribution to the 450th commemoration celebration of St. Augustine's founding. Authors Vivian Browning, Sallie O'Hara, and John Pilecki assembled over 1000 images from the local community and local archives to craft the story of the development of Vilano and the North Beaches.

The event is open to the public and will coincide with Vilano Beach Main Street Inc.'s normal meeting. Vivian Browning and Sallie O'Hara will be onsite for the book signing but John Piecki will be unable to attend. All proceeds go to Vilano Beach Main Street.

The three authors are involved with Vilano Beach Main Street Inc., a group that oversees design regulations, economic restructuring, and other activities for the Vilano Beach communities.
