The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, in partnership with Flying Sauce Presents, welcomes funky R&B party band The California Honeydrops in a live concert on Thursday, October 19, 2017.

Founded by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Lech Wierzynski and percussionist Ben Malament, The California Honeydrops combine diverse musical influences that include Bay Area R&B, funk, Southern soul, Delta blues, and New Orleans second-line. The Los Angeles Times describes their sound: ""Though from Oakland, their Southern-fried jazz is so authentic that [audiences] may wonder whether they've been transported to the Big Easy."

The Honeydrops bring their parties to large audiences and small, as they get down on the dance floor and create a total immersive experience that Wierzynski calls "erasing the boundaries between the crowd and us." Their latest release is Like You Mean It, with 13 original songs.
