The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine present Dark and Stormy Night, an evening of knee-knocking stories, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Limelight Theatre.

Kathy Duffy, Margaret Kaler, Chris Kastle, Kathy Kniery, and Rita Saker share stories that aren't for the faint of heart. Some will offer a bit of history of land and sea, others may involve a song, and any story could have an unexpected twist or a few (or more) chills.

Each year this event is one of the Tale Tellers' more popular performances and features new tales that will thrill and amuse you. This year's troupe features accomplished storytellers who are also songsmiths, authors, actors, and historians.

Members of the Tale Tellers have presented chilling stories for the season for several years. The Tale Tellers is a non-profit organization, formed in 1993 by storytelling enthusiasts. Since then, their membership has grown to more than 30 people undertaking their mission of passing on and enhancing the art of storytelling.

Admission: $15.00 per person. You can purchase tickets in advance or at the door.
