Designer Thomas Jayne at the Lightner Museum

The Lightner Museum presents a one day only event featuring acclaimed designer Thomas Jayne on Monday, February 4, 2019, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Jayne will be introducing his latest book, Classical Principles for Modern Design: Lessons from Edith Wharton and Ogden Codman's The Decoration of Houses. He will be joined by Lightner Museum Executive Direct Robert W. Harper and Curator Barry Myers for a question-and-answer session. The event will begin in the St. Augustine City Commissioners Room in the Lightner Museum Courtyard, followed by a reception and a book signing in the Lightner Museum lobby from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Museum Director Robert Harper remarks, "Thomas Jayne's work is the gold standard for incorporating modern design and historic interior principles."
