EMMA Concert Association will present The Glenn Miller Orchestra live in concert on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Lewis Auditorium.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra is directly tied to the famous jazz big band that America fell in love with during the late 1930s and 1940s. Owned and operated by Glenn Miller Productions, Inc., the orchestra consists of five saxophone players, four trumpeters, four trombonists, three rhythm musicians playing the piano, bass, and drums, two vocalists, and the music director. The Glenn Miller Orchestra has been on the road longer than any other in the world, celebrating its 56th anniversary on June 6, 2012.

Many of Glenn Miller's biggest hits are played by the Orchestra, along with a number of lesser-known tunes that continue to resonate with modern audiences.

Ticket holders for this performance are invited to attend a free screening of the 1954 film, The Glenn Miller Story, with Jimmy Stewart and June Allyson, which will be shown at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Corazón Cinema and Café.
