EMMA Concert: Minneapolis Guitar Quartet

The EMMA Concert Association presents the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet at Lewis Auditorium on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.

With a reputation for creativity and musical mastery, the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet has been playing since 1986 and has been hailed as "one of the major guitar ensembles in the world" by Soundboard Magazine. Beautiful voicing, purity of sound, and superb musicianship characterize this quartet -- one of only a few guitar ensembles which performs from memory. The international group is made up of Maja Radovanlija, Benjamin Kunkel, Joseph Hagedorn, and Wade Ode, all of whom bring their passion and cultural heritage to help make up the quartet's distinctive sound.
