Farm to Table Week 2016

Farm to Table Week at the Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra Beach features fresh and local foods from Northeast Florida farms, offering guests the opportunity to sample the fare while also learning about the cultivation and culinary process. The event takes place from Monday through Thursday, May 2 through 5, 2016, with culinary classes daily and a Southern Soiree Dinner at Nocatee's Crosswater Hall on Thursday evening.

The classes include demonstrations from featured chefs and a variety of tips, as well as plenty of cooking inspiration for all participants.

The Southern Soiree Dinner will be a celebration of low-country cuisine, with some of the area's finest chefs preparing classic Southern dishes. Guests can interact with the chefs to learn more about how they prepared the meal and the importance of using locally grown, seasonal ingredients.

Participating restaurants and farms include Restaurant Medure, Watts Juicery, KC's Kitchen & Atlantic Beach Urban Farms, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Table One, Rype & Readi Farmers Market, Publix Aprons, The Savory Market, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Trader Joes.

Guests will have a chance to participate in a silent auction and bid on fine art and deluxe vacations. The fundraiser benefits arts education program at the Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra Beach.

Admission: Individual tickets for the Southern Soiree Dinner are $125 for Cultural Center members and $150 for non-members. Table sponsorships are $1,400 and include eight reserved seats. Call (904) 280-0814 or visit here for details.
