Flagler College will present "Meet the Collections and Curators: Fashion at the Hotel Ponce de Leon" on Saturday, October 7, 2017, from noon to 2:00 p.m. The free event will be held at the Women's Grand Parlor Room of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon (now Flagler College).

With the opening of the eagerly awaited Dressing Downton exhibit at the Lightner Museum, the timing seems perfect for Flagler College to share some of its priceless archives that illustrate fashion from the Victorian Era through the 1960s. In addition to photographs and documents on display, the show will include a living history component, with staff members from the Archives and Special Collections department and from Flagler's Legacy and Historical Tours outfitted in period dress.

Event attendees can also opt for a unique opportunity to enjoy lunch in the historic Dining Hall, which is normally open only for students, for $6.75 per person.

Admission: The event is free. Lunch in the Dining Hall is available for $6.75 per person.

When: Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Where: The Flagler Room (formerly the Women's Grand Parlor Room) at Flagler College, located at 74 King St. in downtown St. Augustine.
