The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum hosts a special demonstration on the Minorcan craft of fishnet making and casting on Saturday, April 7, 2018. This Nation's Oldest Port® presentation is free with Lighthouse admission and will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Descendants from the original Minorcans who came to St. Augustine over two centuries ago play an important part in maintaining St. Augustine's cultural heritage. Mike Usina will share his knowledge about making and casting mullet nets. The program is free with regular admission to the Lighthouse.

Admission: Program is free with Lighthouse admission: $12.95 for adults, $10.95 for seniors (60+), $10.95 for children (12 and under and over 44" tall), and free for children (under 44" tall, who cannot climb the tower).

When: Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
