As part of Flagler College's Forum on Government and Public Policy, noted internet and technology researcher Lee Rainie will address the topic, "The Internet Turns 50: What's Next?" The talk will take place at 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Auditorium.

The American Sociological Association has described Lee Rainie as the "most authoritative source of reliable data on the use and impact of the internet and mobile connectivity." Rainie is the Director of Internet and Technology at the Pew Research Center, a non-profit and non-artisan "fact tank" that studies the social impact of the internet. The Pew Research Center maintains a comprehensive database of all its reports, which are all available for free here.

Flagler College's Forum on Government and Public Policy brings nationally recognized journalists, commentators, and speakers to St. Augustine to discuss issues at hand in regional, state, and federal government. This forum has promoted intellectual talk about government and public policy for over 30 years at Flagler College.
