On Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College, Politico foreign affairs correspondent Nahal Toosi will speak about the Rohingya Crisis.

Toosi intends to take a more conversational approach to this lecture, encouraging a question-and-answer discourse. Her presentation will focus on how society and media respond to crisis situations, and will call into question the United States' "Never again," promise following the Holocaust -- does our nation have the political tools to keep this promise?

Flagler College's Forum on Government and Public Policy brings nationally recognized journalists, commentators, and speakers to St. Augustine to discuss issues at hand in regional, state, and federal government. This forum has promoted intellectual talk about government and public policy for over 30 years at Flagler College. Call (904) 826-8582 or click here for more information.
