
Florida Chamber Music Project: Masquerade Gala
(904) 834-1586The Florida Chamber Music Project is hosting their annual spring fundraiser, "A Masquerade Gala," on Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.
The Spring Gala will be an evening of tango music and dance, featuring tango lessons and a tango demonstration. The fundraiser will include hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, raffle drawings and a silent auction to benefit Florida Chamber Music Project.
There will also be a special exhibit of art work by Susanne Schuenke at the Concert Hall and reception areas. The artist will have customized hand-painted masks available before and during the event.
Guests are encouraged to come in costume or "creative black tie."
The Florida Chamber Music Project is in its fourth season of offering chamber music concerts performed by their talented string quartet: Susan Pardue (violist and artistic director), Patrice Evans (violinist and director of music education), Anna Genest (violinist), Laurie Casseday (cellist), and Annie Hertler (violinist).

The mission of the Florida Chamber Music Project is "to foster and encourage the presentation of classical chamber music; to present and sponsor presentation of classical chamber music by highly qualified professional musicians; to increase awareness of classical chamber music in the State of Florida in general and in North Florida in particular and to provide educational institutions with opportunities to educate students of all kinds concerning the nature and value of classical chamber music and its performance."
